Well, I went into Thanksgiving about 5-6 lbs over my ideal weight ...
and added another 5-6 lbs to it. Easiest way for me to lose weight is to cut carbs and alcohol, in addition to increasing cardio and lifting. At my age losing weight is more difficult than it used to be. But I figured out that if I don't cut out alcohol I can only lose about 1 lb per week. When I do cut it out, I can easily lose 2 - 2.5 lbs per week. Since I don't want to be in weight-cutting mode until spring, this seemed like the lesser of two evils.
