Bought all new smoke detectors yesterday at Costco, but with

little info on the package, didn't realize they aren't inter-connectable. And I probably assumed they would fit the existing fixtures with some sort of adapter cable. My fault for assuming. Debating on returning them and looking elsewhere. I do like the 10 year battery in them and the fact you just replace the entire thing when expired. Would mean no more 1-2 am awakenings to replace a battery after figuring out which one was causing the problem. Hmmm, after typing this, maybe I'll just keep them:)
