How do you not get it? yes, we understand it can start anytime.


the new year is a date, a milestone, a place to begin... plus the new year has all kinds of connections to rebirth. How is it any different than beginning a road-trip at your driveway? After all, your road-trip could "start" on your drive home.

If someone wants to make a change, I applaud them for starting, iven if they needed the nudge of the new year. Keeping to whatever they started is a whole different discussion.
