Crazy Guy lived in Yellowstone for a total of 2 years so

he climbed it a few times. Older son came out there after VT graduation and climbed it. He had 2 days of prep and 2 days of climbing. It was the warmest days the guides could remember. At the summit at 2 AM it was 65 degrees. Plus he discovered his cell phone worked and he called just about everyone he knew. Crazy Guy and younger son climbed Mt. Moran. They returned first and then we waited for older son which was delayed for several hours since there was a mama bear and 2 youngins on the trail.

When the boys graduated from high school, we took them snowmobiling around Yellowstone the next Winter before you had to go with a group. I wish I had bought the suit and gloves since I was not cold in -20 degrees and I am cold at +50.

But the best thing I ever did was rafting through the Grand Canyon for 8 days. Almost 300 miles on the river, once with the family and the second time with the Roanoke Ski Club. Incredible!
