Here goes....

First one was a Model S P85D. I did a 3 year lease. Resale was irrelevant My residual was way high so lease purchase was not realistic. The car ticked every automotive box that you can think of (except 1....I’ll get to that). Amazing performance (3.1 0-60), great handling, top shelf electronics (but no wifi hotspot). Good range, about 220 miles. Autopilot is cool but not perfected yet. Free supercharging use and I can recharge easily and cheaply at home overnight (I installed a 240 outlet). On a scale of 10 I give the car a solid 9.5. It also is capable of updating software through WiFi which included performance improvement and increased autopilot capabilities. Kinda like getting a slightly newer car with each update. So far service has been above average. Only a few issues over 3 years all of which were smoothly resolved. Ok.....Here is my only significant issue.....The car does not have a soul. I also have a 2009 Porsche 911 S convertible. Top down....AC/DC rocking, speeding down PCH......The 911 is a bit quirky but you feel more of a connection with the car. That said.....I can’t wait to try out a Roadster.

My current Tesla is the Model X 100D. Cool just like my old one....But still love the Porsche. Looking forward to the Roadster!

I could go on but that’s the short story.
