The Apollo Beach area is where most of our friends live and where we spend a fair amount of time. It's growing rapidly and I believe it'll be the next big boom area for Tampa. There's tons of waterfront property for sale still and a few outstanding communities. It's still small enough now that traffic's not an issue, the crime is low and the people who live there are generally educated and above average financially. The stores are mostly new (within 7 years) and the development is going hog wild. I have friends who're realtors down there, so when the time comes, lemme know.

Ruskin is just south of there and, while larger, it's definitely older and more quaint. Sometimes that means run down.
