I never thought of it that way, but I'm on quite a drought there too

Favorite football team when I was a young 'un? The Vikings....0 for 4 in the Super bowl
Favorite football team in my 20's and 30's? The Bills.....0 for 4, straight, in the Super bowl
Favorite College team? VT of course. No comment.

So that leaves 3 sports that I used to care about, but don't TOO much anymore.

Hockey - Late high school / early college I DID like the NY Rangers, but they didn't win it until 1994 and I had lost a lot of interest by then. MAYBE I count that one.

Basketball - Don't care any more, but was a 76'ers fan, and they won it with Malone and the Dr., so maybe I can count that in 1983.

Baseball - Don't care any more, but I was a fairly avid/loyal Pittsburgh Pirates fan through about 1995 or so. They won it in 1979.

So 'my favorite team' hasn't won since 1983, and I can't even TRULY claim that I LOVED the 76'ers and tried not to miss a game. I just rooted for them and was happy when they won.
