Are you talking background instrumental music or song list or either?


I say song list, like a musical, say Grease, or collective of other songs (like Forrest Gump, Almost Famous, Saturday Night Fever, etc.), or pure background soundtrack, like The Dark Knight, Star Wars, Raiders, etc.

And even song collection movies like Forrest Gump have background music, too.

I think of them separately, because to me they are different animals.
