Agree, but the point they actually make


is that the touch screen, point and click devices are so ingrained in society that they don't understand they are using a computer - or even have any idea what is going on when they "drag" something across the screen.

Now should they? different question. You can be effective without knowing the gory details, but understanding how something works makes you more efficient with it and gives you insight on what other ways it may be helpful, that aren't part of the direct teaching.
