Jeepers, you must have read my post on the subscriber side...


What's the point of even the non money making sports? I might argue that they provide a capstone to all the high school kids competing, so the value is all the exercise, coordination skills, and yes, leadership etc. learned in high school is the value, and getting a schollie is the incentive for all of them to try harder, although only a few make it. (but they've all earned their real reward already)

Yeah, I agree, intramural for many rather than sending one person to the Olympics.
