Wigan may get promoted this season, but it wouldn't surprise


me if Wigan got relegated again the following season. At least recent suggests it may be a good possibility.

2012-2013: Premier
2013-2014: Championship
2014-2015: Championship
2015-2016: League One
2016-2017: Championship
2017-2018: League One

Even though Wigan has 3 games in hand over Blackburn and Shrewsbury Town, it would not surprise me if Wigan ends up being 1 of the 4 Playoff teams. For teams that qualify for the Playoff, sometimes it is the luck of the draw as to ends up with the last promotion spot.
