Everything the kid had could be purchased at a gun show or milsurp store.


The "grenades" were inert per the article, the "C-4 land mine detonator" is just a claymore clacker that makes noise and a spark and the "ballistic vest" was an old surplus Kevlar vest. All items that sound scary but separate from the rifle and manifesto would mean nothing. Plenty of airsoft and paintball enthusiasts own these things.
