An important thing to point out. Phosphorylation and aggregation of Tau does not mean they have damage, we don't have good broadly accepted animal models for tauopathies as many models can develop Tau aggregates but our current testing doesn't detect any cognitive decline. Could mean it isn't there or that we don't know how to test for it in other animals.
