Just heard from relatives in DE

They built a new home last year and selected an expensive option in a backup generator integrated into their houseplans.

They have already used it once this winter, and now it's back up because power has been down for a few hours.

And they are not in the worst of it by any means. I hear New Jersey and up the coast will be devastated.
