Well the weather is going to suck tomorrow so probably nothing on the lake


So indoor stuff is probably best. Maybe that go kart place mentioned below or the Pit Indoor Kart racing. If the kid is bored there is an indoor trampoline place in Huntersville. Or if you are a nascar fan there is the hall of fame in Charlotte. I think there is something in Mooresville also but I'm not positive on what/where.

If you were in town today you could go to a basketball game at Davidson tonight. Otherwise there is the CIAA tournament in Charlotte. Just be aware that the crowd for the CIAA tournament has a bad rap locally due to past shootings and fights. But the game itself should be fine and safe.

Mooresville (exit 36) has some ok chain restaurants. Better food is either in Davidson (exit 30) or Huntersville (exit 25 Birkdale Village). Or you could head over to Concord Mills and watch sports/get food at Twin Peaks.
