Any game is going to have calls that people will complain about either way. Is that a call that I don’t want to see decide a game - 100%. If the ref thought the slap or push from behind affected the play - which Lykes fell - he has to call it. When you let a game come down to a single basket you run that risk. We had some bad possessions towards the end of the game. We also had Bibbs at the end with a 5 footer that he didn’t even get above the rim to give it a chance. He missed but then got a rebound that he then let go off his hands out of bounds. I don’t buy that he was fouled there.

We had our chances and we let it come down to defending the last possession and with that comes the risk of letting the officials affect the outcome. Good teams may win. Great teams do win. I think we are good and use the ACC tourney to become great.
