If it has an ionizer, you are set as long as it is in


Good condition. If it doesn't, the equipment, particularly the salt cell, will need maintenance and replacing more often. If it doesn't have an ionizer, I would recommend putting one on. You almost won't have to touch it.
I would have a separate pool inspection done in addition to the general house inspection.
