Need some lounge advice on laptop purchase

I direct a small NGO in Uganda. We work with vulnerable children and teenagers. One of our program areas involves vocational training - sewing, tailoring, carpentry, welding, small engine repair. Last year we tested a vocational training course teaching basic computer skills. It showed promise and we want to make it a regular part of our offerings. The laptops for the test were loaned to us by another organization and now we need to buy our own laptops. I'm way out of my depth here and really don't know what to get. These laptops do not have to be powerful. We are teaching basic skills - keyboarding, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc. There will be no internet access, battery life needs to be good because power is sometimes an issue. There is no need for the ability to do gaming or other stuff like that. I'm looking at the Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-575-33BM) because it is inexpensive ($350), seems to be a normal size (not a tablet), I can get it worked on here - and maybe even can source it here although that is not necessary. We will just be teaching/doing simple things most any decent laptop will do but thought I get the lounge advice first because you people ask some good clarifying questions - plus, I haven't seen the "get a mac" response lately. TIA.
