That Acer seems like...
a decent choice. You’ll be hard-pressed to beat it for $350 outside of a chromebook... which doesn’t seem like a good fit for what you’re doing.
One thing to consider with this laptop is that the battery appears to be less than friendly when you need to replace it. lf you intend for these laptops to be used regularly on battery and for a period that outlasts the battery life, you’ll want to have somebody who is comfortable replacing them. I’m not familiar with the process, but it doesn’t sound like it is a simple plug and play process like most non-Mac batteries.
