Once served on jury for domestic abuse case. Husband shot wife with BB gun.

She called the cops on him, hence the trial. However in the intervening months she had change of heart. On the stand they both testified husband was “cleaning” his BB gun when it went off accidentally, hitting her in the back. Claimed he always kept the gun by the door because of neighbor’s annoying dogs. In deliberation everyone called BS on their story but went ahead an acquitted the husband. Figured if she wants to live with the clown that bad then have at it. Should have found him guilty of animal cruelty. When trial all done the judge actually apologized to us for the waste of time.
