If you have a local appliance store, give them a fair shot


They probably don't have quite the selection of the big boxes, but you might be surprised how competitive the prices are.

Plus, there is no such thing as an ironclad guarantee that an appliance you buy won't have a problem. And if it does, you would MUCH rather be dealing with a locally-owned appliance dealer with their own service staff vs. a big box that outsources all their service.
