now they are stupid for picking degrees that will make money but they aren't interested in.

As for the part about permiscuity, I'm not sure any of those guys really made a strong case based in anything real. One mentions an increase in the divorce rate, but on the contrary, there are fewer and fewer marriages ending in divorce for young adults. It has steadily declined since the 80's. I think their concerns are more based in things that they think are bad "oh no, unmarried sex!" versus actual problems. In fact, it's quite clear here: "Where courtship languishes, marriage weakens." This sounds more like an old wives tale than any thing based in reality. They argue from a position of emotional guesses and presumptions.

The idea of "in loco parentis" at a place where nearly everyone is an adult also seems silly. As for the double standard of drugs vs sex, well one is legal, one is not.
