Counter offer is from me to them. Sorry for the confusion.

I am contracting for the same company that is offering me to come onboard.

Sorry for the confusion.

I was laid off a couple years ago by a company that recently went through bankruptcy a second time (to give an idea of where I used to be) and have contracting with this company ever since. They are offering to bring me on board after working remotely from (way) out of state. This is a fortune 20 company. If I lose the offer, my contract is up Jan of next year and I'll be back on the market.
