I honestly think that is one of our problems these days

Because information (and I refuse to use the term "news"...we don't have news anymore, only information) is so fragmented, filtered, processed, and sanitized, we all have the ability to never hear a viewpoint we disagree with if we so choose.

This is turning us into a culture of people that have no idea how to disagree civilly.

All we really know to do with someone we disagree with is belittle, dismiss, or ignore them.
