I knew a kid who was from Floyd when I attended Ferrum JC

we would make the road trip up through the mountains, state road, and go frog gigging on a golf course up there somewhere. We would take a few dozen bull frogs put them in a gunny sack and bring them back to our dorm to dress out in the sinks of our shower room! Our dorm mom knew about it but she was a great lady who let us do our thing as long as we cleaned up after ourselves. Man, those legs frying in electric pans around our dorm smelled great?
