So I've lived my life thinking my maternal grandparents were both Irish and

my paternal grandparents were each from Denmark and Switzerland.
So a few moths ago I took an Ancestry DNA test. I only had like 16% Irish, and equal amounts English. About 20% Scandinavian, and then some Turkish and eastern Asian for the rest. I have no idea where the Asian comes from.
So my wife takes it the other day, and she was supposed to be English and German. (Always told her I hated her forefathers for what they did to us Irish) Turns out she's like 60% Irish. She more Irish than me. And no German.

I think our grandparents and great-grandparents got a lot of explaining to do.
