Big 12 and Big East discussing hoops alliance


With the B1G and ACC going to 20 conference games and the $EC and PAC 12 not far behind, these two are considering a scheduling alliance, according to Iowa State AD Jamie Pollard and WVU AD Shane Lyons. This has been reported this week in KC Star, CBS Sports and WV MetroNews. Sorry, I have no idea how to post it here. What do you expect from a computer illiterate hillbilly from WV? Anyway, if it works out it will start in 2019 and include all ten teams from each conference playing in December. Both conferences will need quality OOC opponents since other P6 schools won’t be as available. Kansas and Villanova already have a home and home for the next two seasons. The Big 12-$EC Challange will also apparently continue.
