I think a wedding ceremony and message should be centered around whatever the bride and groom feel is important to them. If spirituality/faith are important in their lives, then I think it's perfectly appropriate for the service to include a message that aligns with their beliefs. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that those attending sit through a brief message that is significant to the wedding party, regardless of whether or not the guests identify with the message.
