At this point I fear Liverpool for next year.

Will a UCL victory give them more juice for next year's season? Or, will a loss keep them focused on a target still to be gained? Which outcome makes Pool more dangerous?

At this point, I think a championship gives Pool more juice. Therefore I am rooting for Madrid.

Not to mention, I am suspecting Madrid disassembles their team and sells off players to get some younger guys in there and infuse an aging team. If so, would Gareth Bale consider returning to Spurs? Which outcome makes Madrid sell off with more of a vengeance?

Once again, I think a Madrid victory helps that goal happen quicker / with more intensity. As a Spurs fan I will stick with Madrid.

And there's also the sidelight satisfaction of Spurs having trashed the eventual champs in the group stage, should Madrid win.
