What's this?

My personal projections for the Premier League next year....


1. Liverpool. I think they are the best team, in the best mental position to have a consistent campaign.

2. Spurs. Tottenham is in a similar position as Liverpool and can do at least as well as this year's team. Who knows, with a fast start.... but Spurs never start fast.

3. City. I think they are gonna find this year's (perfect) act tough to follow. As soon as they lose one or two early, the mental bugaboos will hit and cost them over the long run. See Chelsea 2017/18.

4. Arsenal. I think they have been languishing under Wenger and starting a new regime will do them a world of good. Still won't put them close to the top 3 though -- they'll be scratching it out with Chelsea and United for the CL spot, with a big gap between them and City/Spurs.

5. United. I think Jose Mourinho will be a liability in 2018/19.

6. Chelsea. This year's turmoil can't have helped them. They will be inconsistent.
