Trigeminal Neuralgia is often treated with Gamma Knife......


UVA does do this. The nerve is hit with a one time dose of radiation. The radiation kills the nerve so the pain goes away. It's a sensory nerve and not a motor nerve so the face doesn't droop or anything like that. It just takes the sensory pathway for the pain away. For some this is the only relief they have found. May or may not be right for you but worth investigating for sure.
