Okay, so some friends have asked my wife and I to be godparents to their

children, and we need to go out to Nebraska to make it official. Truth be told, we should have done this trip already, a long time ago. Just haven't got to it yet. We're gonna go in August.

If we fly, we're there in a couple or few hours and get to spend all kinds of time visiting friends, friends' kids, and corn fields. If we drive, we get to see and visit a bunch of places on the way we've never seen before. Never been to Loserville. Never been to St. Louis. Never been to Kansas City. These are all along one possible route out there. Never been to Chicago, Indianapolis, or anywhere in the state of Ohio. Could come back through there.

What do y'all think? Fly to a flyover state and see no other points of interest along the way? Or drive half-way across the country and see what we can see along the way?
