Maybe that will be the year when the 3 South American countries

finally earn CONCACAF bids. Since the field will increase to 48 teams, it will be interesting to see how FIFA divides up the additional 16 bids given that CONCACAF will have 3 automatic qualifiers that year. Also, I will be curious to see if FIFA continues with the inter-confederation playoffs or not.
