I have a tile on my keys and I've found it helpful. Just open the app and

Press a button and your keys start ringing. I once had a particularly frustrating day trying to find my keys and when I rang them from Tile they rang behind me. I turn around and they were ringing behind me again. I looked like a dipshiRt dog chasing it's tail before I realized the damn things were in my back pocket.
