I think the Caps would have given him 4M for 3-4 yrs, it was that 5th yr...

I too hope they hire within and somewhat keep it together, sign Carlson and as many of their other FA's they can... Make another run at it. Key is Ovie playing like a man possessed like he did this year. If he comes with that fire he will take the team with him...
