Started out just eliminating sweets


and breakfast cereal. Then started reading labels and realized some things, such as salad dressings, contain as much sugar as a candy bar. The only fruits that i regularly eat that i have to avoid are pineapple and water mellon. Doesnt take much effort to check the items you normally eat. And to just substitue another salad dressing, bbq sauce and etc.
