I SORTA go with that philosophy. When I used to travel a lot for work, I


really avoided eating anywhere that was a chain that I could also go to at home. Now...if it was a regional chain that wasn't at home, then that would be OK, but even then I'd try to find something local. Not so much to punish the chains, but moreso to experience the local flavor and scene.
