odd are, that is, at least in part, what the kids are exposed to at home.

If the parents were star wars fans, he'd probably be running around with a stick pretending it is a lightsaber.

If the parents were Marvel fans, he'd probably be running around with a trash can lid as Cap's shield.

If the parents were military, he'd probably be running around pretending to shoot a gun.

Most kids first area of make-believe is imitating what they see around the home. Especially if the parents think it is adorable and encourage it.
