I'd go with no. Sounds like a solution in search of a problem


If you are scared your kids will be abducted, it still won't help as any abductor would certainly ditch their captive's cell phone.

If you don't trust your kid (whether it is deserved or just a paranoid helicopter parent), that is not a problem that can be solved with technology.
