I say don't do it. For kids that age, they are already adults, and


you should be able to trust them. Are you really going to be checking up on them all the time? Not to mention there can be any number of valid reasons that someone might not be where you would expect them to be. (example, my coach in college got a report that one of our teammates "was at the bar" and told him turn in his gear. The kid went to pick up a roommate that called him and was too trashed to drive). If the kid wants to go to the bar and knows you will be stalking, he/she might just leave the phone at home anyway. I don't think you want to encourage that.

The location sharing is good when someone is on a long drive and you want to see their progress and ETA without pestering them with texts or calls.
