I think you have two choices;


1. Invest in index funds or sector funds and let it roll;
or
2. Read "How to Make Money in Stocks" by William O'Neill and "One Up on Wall Street" by Peter Lynch; subscribe two Investors Business Daily for a month and then pick individual stocks.

2. worked awesome when I had a lot of free time and 1 worked awesome when I was not committed to the effort it takes to pick individual stocks.
