THANK YOU for posting these links! Watched/listened to them last night and

was immediately taken back to my senior year, 1990-1991, to both Civil War History classes and another class called Great Americans or something to that affect, can't remember exact name. I wish I had interacted or gotten to know him on a more personal level, take the time to speak with him more rather than just attending class. I would do anything to get my Civil War notes back! Donated them to the VTCC "coofer" files. He is a GREAT American and probably even greater Virginian. His discourse on Civil War monuments should be required watching by the Nation and definitely the politicians in Washington DC and Richmond. The United States of America was born out of the Civil War or War Between the States; we should be embracing and learning from our history rather than trying to erase it like it never occurred. Learn from the past to make a better future. THANK YOU again for posting these links! I live in Harrisonburg and had no idea this event was was held at JMU; would have loved to attend!
