Son's CAP squadron got a closeup of 4 A-10s last year


they were from the NE ANG and stopped by our local airport. Met the pilots got to sit in the cockpits and got a complete tour of the planes (including accompanying the pilots on their pre-flights).

It is my son's favorite aircraft and his 2nd choice behind the F-22 when he gets selected for AF Flight (he's 16 and knows what he wants to do).

Have a ton of pics at home, I'll see if I can post a couple tonight.

BTW...a little humble brag....he is receiving his Billy Mitchel award (promotion to Cadet 2nd LT) in Civil Air Patrol next week. Extremely proud of him.
