An A-10 bombed a local beer joint here on the Eastern Shore.

The Maryland ANG flies A-10's out of Mitchell Field near Baltimore. Do a lot of practice flights over the Eastern Shore. One day, one of them was carrying a practice bomb (no explosive) which failed to release. On the way back to Baltimore, the bomb finally came loose and landed in the parking lot of Darlene's, a local dive bar. Several locals were sitting at a picnic table next to the parking lot when the bomb hit. Underwear sales were up at Walmart the next day.
