This has been the worst real estate transaction I've ever been part of

Seller is making $100K off the sale due to the sharp increase in prices here over the past three years but has nickel and dimed us every step of the way. Now they've flat out refused to fix or did a half-assed job fixing the few relatively minor things we wanted done before closing. Part of me says make them do it right, but the bigger part says just let it go and fix it myself after we move in. Plus seller is badmouthing us to all their neighbors (who will soon be our neighbors) because we wanted those things fixed and insisted on a walk through to make sure they were done. Sigh.
