I went to Hawaii in 94 for Christmas. I was sitting across the Aisle from 2

Boston College football players who were wearing their BC Jackets & were going out in advance of the Team because they had finished exams early for the Hula Bowl press coverage. It was BC’s Bowl Game in 94. We’d been talking on the plane because VT was in the Big East with BC. Anyway, as I’m walking off the plane between these 2 BC players who are wearing their jackets, we’re all talking and laughing, the 3rd BC guy was behind us, these cute girls in grass skirts surprise us by walking up & putting a floral lay around my neck and the other 2 players. I’m thinking wow they really do this stuff in Hawaii since it was my first trip to the islands. Then they see the third guy with the BC jacket behind us & my girl realizes she put the lay on the wrong guy. They were only there to greet the BC Players. Meanwhile the camera guy is recording all of this. It was pretty funny. She had to take the lay off of me & give it to him.
