I'm all on board with Global Warming. But, I'm not completely on board with


these "strength of wind" updates they issue when storm is significantly out to sea. These are based upon satellite images and readings/formulas to calculate actual wind speed at the surface. Same with the hurricane hunter aircraft. They are calculations.Too often we see a miraculous equal drop in wind speed as it nears the coast. (Where actual wind speed can be recorded by buoy or land based device.)

Not saying it's not because of warming, just saying I'm not so sure.
