Any of you lizards leave a job without giving two weeks notice?


I have, but it was a joint decision between me and the current employer. I really don't like my current job and want to get to my new one as soon as possible.

I know I have the new job (per HR), but I will get the offer letter today or tomorrow, most likely. Would it look bad if I told my new employer I didn't need to work out a 2 week notice and could be there if they wanted me to start within 2 weeks?

I don't think so...
