Those fires have ravaged California for thousands of years.


I remember hearing about the necessity of the fires when I was a kid. Pretty natural. It is us humans that got in the way. No different that building on a flood-prone coast and then complaining that the last flood was the worst ever.... It's been doing that forever.

Still a good read though. thanks
