I considered a tankless to replace our water heater this year. The cost is

huge and if you do not have the house already wired it requires alot of juice and special wiring, the cost was nuts. Bought the water heater at Lowes, plumbing buddy came over and had it in in about 30 minutes. (AO Smith) same brand as the ancient on it replaced.
